I just finished reading all of Rice Boy. I wanted to like it. The world and characters are certainly very imaginative. And obviously a lot of work went into the artwork. But several times while reading it I felt like the story was meandering like an escaped Alzheimers patient and I should just cut my losses and abandon reading it. But I persevered thinking anyone who put this much work into something must have had some good story to tell. But I was really disappointed. The story seems like Lord of The Rings retold by someone who saw the movie on a bad acid trip. I want those few hours of my life back.
